Synopsis
Elphaba, now demonized as the Wicked Witch of the West, lives in exile, hiding in the forests of Oz. Glinda, meanwhile, has become the glamorous symbol of goodness for the entire population of Oz. As Glinda’s fame grows and she prepares to marry Prince Fiyero in a spectacular Ozian wedding, she is haunted by her separation from Elphaba. She attempts to reconcile Elphaba with the Wizard, but fails—an unsuccessful attempt that drives Elphaba and Glinda even further apart. When a girl from Kansas arrives and turns all their lives upside down, Glinda and Elphaba must unite one last time. They will need to look at each other with honesty and empathy if they hope not only to change themselves, but all of Oz—for good.
